On January the 26th, 2010, the 4th edition of the practical symposium on pig health took place in Tilburg, The Netherlands, organized by Dutch feed producer Coppens Diervoeding and American pig breeding company PIC. This year’s focus was on “Increase pig health – A good health does not require medication”.

Agrimex was proud to provide one of the keynote speakers at the event – Ir. Anne Goderis, product manager at Agrimex - who elaborated on the potential of innovative natural, anti-inflammatory products as a strategy to improve growth by improving the health status of the animal, and to replace or reduce the use for anti-microbials in animal feeding.

Over the years, Agrimex has been actively developing and promoting the use of innovative products aimed at reducing and replacing antimicrobial growth promoters, and has built up an extensive knowledge in this domain.

On multiple occasions, Agrimex nutritionists and product managers have worked closely together with leading feed manufacturers, such as Coppens, on product development and field studies, which has resulted in a mutual respect and ongoing technology exchanges and support.
